Lillian has extensive experience working with people, just like you! Providing counselling that is targeted to meet you where you may be at, as we explore what and where you want to start and what you want to explore to be different. She has extensive experience in partnering with people, just like you, to provide therapy that is helpful, healing and whole, that will be refreshing, real and rewarding .

 

Lillian is well skilled in a range of counselling approaches (modalities), with experience that will ensure the provided therapy is about you and for you.

 

Lillian has worked across a range of areas such as: 

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Stress

  • Substance use

  • Work – Life issues

  • Support during and following life adjustment (separation, redundancy, retirement)

  • Childhood issues  

  • Grief and Loss 

  • Trauma 

  • Relationship issues

Counselling sessions with Lillian can be with or without Medicare, as she is an accredited and credentialed mental health Social Worker.

Sessions are of approximately 50minutes – 1 hour in duration.

Sessions can occur face to face (Brisbane South) or online if that is more suitable for you.

Session frequency will be discussed with you during the first appointment, as Lillian has a work with, not do to philosophy.

Lillian is both a social worker and counsellor who aspires to the provision of compassionate, growth orientated and supportive supervision.  Aligning with the AASW who describe Supervision as an ongoing activity of social workers and central to their professional identity and growth across all roles and organisational settings. Lillian also aligns with AIPC who highlight that Supervisory relationships are a complex blend of professional, educational and therapeutic aspects”, (Geldard, & Geldard, 2001, p.377). 

 

Lillian is both a person centred & contemporary experienced practitioner and leader, who offers supervision that ‘sees you’ and ‘hears you’, regardless of the amount of ‘time served’ in practice (new or seasoned). A proven ability to utilise a range of supervision frameworks (reflective, reflexive and real) relevant to Government, NGO and Private practice settings. Given her own extensive front line practice experience across a range of dynamic, crisis and therapeutic settings, Lillian offers supervision for practice in the real world.

Supervision modes of delivery are both face-to-face (South Brisbane) or online, dependent on what is most suitable for you.

Lillian provides ‘real time training experiences’ through a lens of both extensive Tertiary knowledge, combined with a breadth and depth of practical front-line experience unlike many others. This combination serves to ensure teams ‘see and feel’ and are ‘seen, heard and felt’ .

 

Lillian has provided training across a range of services and sectors such as:

Lillian has provided consulting to complex case scenarios across DFV, AOD and Child protection. Lillian is well skilled in the Trauma Informed Framework alongside the application and use of context specific modalities from crisis to therapy ensuring consulting supports PR actioner growth, client outcome and service development.
